We all know the song by Drake 'In My Feelings', I like it, I do the dance to it, but now I have noticed how much this generation expresses how they feel. Making decisions based on their feelings, and sometimes making big changes because they feel like it. Some even leave relationships because they don't feel like being with the person any more. Some don't get a job or even clean their room, because 'who feels like doing that"?

This is a way that the enemy tries to steal, kill & destroy us. We need to stop living by our emotions & feelings.

REMEMBER - THE ENEMY HAS BEEN DEFEATED!

However, we need to continue to defeat the daily battles thrown our way.

​

I think we need to be more focused on what is constant & unchanging, even when we don't 'feel' like it. 

​

Some practical ways to guard your heart and not just 'go with the flow, or what you feel in the moment':

- Stay in Gods Word

- Have self-control 

- Don't be swayed easily

- Pray & have relationship with God

​

These are all ways to stay focused and constant, however it is hard to keep up all on our own. God wants to come and help and be invited into the good and bad, pretty & ugly of your life, so that you ask Him what to do, rather than just go with what feels right in the moment. 

​

God will not force his plans on you, he wants to be invited and asked into your life and plans, to partner with you.

Will you invite Him today?

He can help you to realise the power that lives inside you and the power that has already overcome the plans of the enemy.

But we need to seek God daily, because the enemy is striking daily and has battle plans daily. So what are your battle plans to defeat the enemies deception and intimidation. The enemy has no power when you are not threatened because you see thing's for what they are and you don't live by your feelings and emotions.

I am a little sassy in this specific episode, only because I care for people and I don't want anyone to be blind to the enemies plans, like I once was.

Gods plans are bigger, Gods ways are higher and He wants to join with you today, when you invite Him to help you realise the power that lives in you.
